This workshop format will involve a presentation followed by structured time to design your own edible landscape or forest garden.

Join University of Illinois Extension in Elizabeth for our Spring Break Gardening Series. Choose from many different gardening topics over the upcoming months. Vermicomposting April 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office. Vermicomposting is a cool compost method that utilizes your kitchen scraps to transform into compost that you can then use for your houseplants, vegetables, garden beds, and seed starting.
